After several months of going dogless, our kids finally convinced mom and dad to get another dog.  As many of you know Jackie our dog for sixteen years needed to be put down because of her advanced age and health problems.

Now we have "Duchess" a bounding, energetic mixed breed puppy from the APL.  One problem is we already have a Duchess. Duchess the cat, who is now a concerned cat with the arrival of a rival Duchess.  Two Duchesses in the home will not do.  

Several possible names for the puppy have been suggested:  Princess (close to Duchess), Lady, or sticking with "D's" Daisy.  Some in our family have gone to calling her baby.  To me she acts like a Goober.  Whatever we call her, she certainly has stirred up the Irmler home.  If you don't believe me just ask Duchess, (the cat). 

New additions are exciting and so are new additions to the Family of God.  Nothing is more exciting than seeing individuals come into the Family of God through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ.  We are praying that a lot of excitment will be experienced at Ambassador this summer by the seeing of new additions into the Family of God!
